Impact Wrestling star Eddie Kingston is now the AAW Pro Tag Team Champions.

At Last night’s AAW Pro Wrestling “Destination Chicago” event, it opened with a title change, as Eddie Kingston and David Starr became the new AAW Pro Tag Team Champions by defeating The Besties in The World (Davey Vega and Mat Fitchett).

For those unfamiliar with AAW Pro Wrestling (which formerly stood for All American Pro-Wrestling), its an independent promotion that was founded back in 2004. The roster is stacked with hot independent talents such as Penta El Om (Pentagon Jr), Sami Callihan, Jake & Dave Christ, Moose, Kimber Lee, Fenix, and Shane Strickland.

The AAW Heavyweight Champion is ACH, Trevor Lee is the AAW Heritage Champion, and Kimber Lee is the AAW Women's Champion. Check out the reaction promo from Kingston and Starr:
