Is Lee Johnson the next ROH World Television Champion?

The 27-year-old has been on the cusp of winning the ROH World Television title for quite some time. Johnson has challenged for the belt three times in his career and came up short every time. However, the ROH star has vastly improved his skills the last time he lost his title opportunity and it showed during his Proving Ground match against Komander several weeks ago.

Johnson may have won that match due to a time limit draw, but the way he was able to slyly outsmart the champion was an impressive feat. But Johnson can’t win the title by countout or time limit draw tonight. And he’s facing a man who is currently in the midst of a hot streak. Komander has successfully defended his belt three times; can he make it number four tonight? Or will Lee Johnson finally break the glass ceiling and win the ROH World Television Championship?

Former ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta takes some time off with The Death Riders for a night to face Fuego Del Sol. Yuta is fresh off a successful Trios Title win with PAC and Claudio against The Undisputed Kingdom a week prior. However, The AEW star did lose to Jay White in singles competition, and the former ROH Pure Champion is hoping to rebound a bit with a victory over ROH resident Fuego Del Sol. Fuego hasn’t had the best luck in Ring of Honor as of late. In fact, he hasn’t had an ROH singles win since July 28, 2024. Beating Wheeler Yuta would be a huge upset for the 29-year-old. Can Fuego shock the masses and pull off a giant win over Wheeler Yuta?

Also, everyone’s favorite minion will be in action as Billie Starkz is scheduled to compete with the ROH World Women’s Champion in her corner. How will the dynamic between Athena and Billie Strakz play out on tonight’s episode? Could Athena help the former ROH Women’s World Television Champion win? Or will Athena be the cause of her downfall?

Check out the advertised card below:

  • Komander vs. Lee Johnson for the ROH World TV Title
  • Wheeler Yuta vs. Fuego Del Sol
  • Barbaro Cavernario, Hechicero, and Soberano Jr. vs. Sammy Guevara, Dark Panther, and Fuego
  • Rachael Ellering vs. Abadon
  • “Gates of Agony” Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun in action
  • Billie Starkz in action
