Ladies and gentleman, your new NWA National Heavyweight Champion, Colt Cabana!

During the Tuesday night tapings of the new NWA Power show, James Storm defended the belt against the previous champion. Back in June, Storm took the title off of Cabana by taking advantage of the ROH star’s injury and requesting his rematch against the now two-time champion.

The first encounter between the two athletes resulted in a fifteen-minute draw. Cabana promised to give Storm five more minutes and the former TNA star made sure he kept that promise. Storm ultimately won a short match; however, the former TNA star was unable to retain his gold against the 39-year-old during the television tapings. NWA Power will air on the promotion’s YouTube and Facebook page on Tuesday Nights at 6:05.
