The first match for the G1 Supercard in Madison Square Garden has been set.

At the Honor Rising event, ten-time ROH World Tag Team champions Mark & Jay Briscoe successfully defended their title against LifeBlood members David Finlay & Juice Robinson. After the match was said and done, they then challenged the newly crowned five-time IWGP Tag Team champions Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa, who came down to the ring and instantly accepted.

NJPW & ROH management have yet to officially confirm the match; however, the bout is very likely to happen unless Mark & Jay drop their titles at the 17th Anniversary show against PCO & Brody King of Villain Enterprises. The G1 Supercard will take place on April 6th, at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, NY.
