We officially have our first confirmed round one match-up for AEW’s tag team tournament, as Nick & Matt Jackson will once again take on Private Party’s Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen on October 9.

This past Friday evening, these two teams met at House of Glory’s High Intensity 8 event, with the former getting the victory in both team’s farewell House of Glory match. After the contest, The Bucks got on the mic and announced that they will face off against Private Party once again in the first-round bout of the tag team title tournament.

There hasn’t been any other tag team tournament match-ups confirmed for the first show in Washington DC or for the October 16th show in Philadelphia at the moment. The Young Bucks will first concern themselves with The Lucha Brothers at All Out however, as the teams will be fighting in a ladder match for the AAA Tag Team titles on August 31st.
