The latest edition of AEW Dynamite for October 9, 2019 took place at the Agganis Arena in Boston, MA.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Tag Team Tournament Round 1 Match: Private Party defeated The Young Bucks by pinfall to advance.

— Chris Jericho, alongside with his stablemates (Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Ortiz and Santana) cut a promo and dubbed the group The Inner Circle.

— No. 1 Contender's Match: Darby Allin defeated Jmmy Havoc by pinfall to earn a title shot against Chris Jericho for next week.

— Riho and Dr. Britt Baker defeated Emi Sakura nad Bea Priestley by submission.

— Jon Moxley defeated Shawn Spears by pinfall. After the match, Kenny Omega, armed with a barbed wire broom, tossed a barbed wire baseball bat to Moxley, ready to fight, but Pac attacked Omega from behind with a chair.

Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara defeated Dustin Rhodes and "Hangman" Adam Page by pinfall. After the match, a brawl ensued that ended up involving all the members of Inner Circle against Page, Dustin and Cody Rhodes, MJF, The Young Bucks and Darby Allin.
