All Elite Wrestling has officially announced the date for their inaugural World Championship match between Adam “Hangman” Page and Chris Jericho.

The match-up will take place at All Out on August 31st in Chicago. Page won his opportunity by being a surprise entrant in the Casino Battle Royale. The Elite member was originally scheduled to face PAC on the main card; however, the bout was ultimately scrapped and Page’s status for Double or Nothing was up in the air.

Chris Jericho won his right to challenge for the AEW World Championship by besting Kenny Omega in the main event of the show. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion walked in a bit of an underdog thanks to his previous outing against the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion at Wrestle Kingdom 12, which resulted in Omega getting the win over the wrestling veteran.

Chris Jericho previously noted in an interview that the match would take place at All Out, and AEW has since confirmed that is the case on social media. Thus far, that’s the only confirmed match-up for All Out. AEW’s next pay-per-view is Fight For the Fallen on July 13th. Neither man have a bout at the event at the moment, though Chris Jericho confirmed that he will be at the July pay-per-view.
