It appears as if eSports host and announcer Alex "Goldenboy" Mendez has signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling.

He took to Twitter this week to share a GIF that said "it's official" and included a contract being signed. AEW's Alex Marvez then responded with "Welcome aboard!!!" and tagged the company in the process. They've yet to comment but it's not hard to see what's happened here.

As you'll no doubt recall, "Goldenboy" provided commentary alongside WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross and Excalibur at Fyter Fest. His work was well-received and he's worked on a number of high-profile projects, including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Titan Games on NBC. It remains to be seen what shows he'll be used on.

We'll let you know if and when we hear more!
