All Elite Wrestling has confirmed a new female talent to their roster, which is current OZ Academy Openweight champion, Hikaru Shida.

Shida has been wrestling since 2008, and is one of the most respected and accomplished female performers in Japan. She’s previously competed in SHIMMER, AAA, DDT, Ice Ribbon, Pro Wrestling Wave, and Revolution Championship Wrestling. In addition to being the OZ Academy Openweight champion, she’s previously held the Wave Single Championship, RCW Women's Championship, and the Oz Academy Tag Team Championship.

Shida joins the female roster of Aja Kong, Allie, Bea Priestley, Brandi Rhodes, Dr. Britt Baker, Kylie Rae, Nyla Rose, Penelope Ford, Sadie Gibbs, and Yuka Sakazaki.
