On September 25, Southside Wrestling Entertainment revealed that NXT UK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray, El Ligero, Joseph Conners, and Ilja Dragonov were pulled from their Ninth Anniversary show by WWE despite already paying for advertisements that promoted the NXT UK talents for the company’s final event.

Shortly after the announcement, AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes chimed in on the situation and promised to help the promotion out. Now, AEW has come through with their word as Shawn Spears and MJF are confirmed for SWE’s Anniversary show on Oct. 26.

It’s noted that “more news coming”, so it’s possible that two more talents could be added to the show; however, that’s just speculation on my end.
