In another crowning of a new champion, Allysin Kay – former Impact Knockouts champion Sienna – defeated former NWA World Women’s champion Santana Garrett to win the vacant championship.

Garrett was a replacement for Jazz, who held the title for an astounding 948 days. The former WWE and ECW wrestler was forced to vacate the championship due to personal and health issues.

The two female competitors had a solid back-and-forth showing, but Kay was able to capitalize on a mistake by Garrett and connected wtih a lariat, which led to Kay getting the three count. WWE Hall of famer Medusa presented Kay with the NWA World Women’s title. This is the first time that Kay has won the championship.
