Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that a scheduled segment between Mick Foley and MJF was nixed for the Starrcast III fan convention.

The reason behind the segment being scrapped was said to be due to the company not wanting to make MJF or the Hardcore Legend look bad. Since AEW officials couldn’t come up with a way to get around that, they ultimately decided to nix the moment between the two talents altogether.

There is no word on what the plans were for the two on stage. With another Starrcast coming up in November before AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view, it’s possible that MJF and Mick Foley could end up having a segment together; however, that’s just pure speculation at the moment.
