AXS has announced some changes to their programming, as both New Japan Pro Wrestling and Women of Wrestling will be airing every Saturday night in primetime, starting July 13. At the moment, both promotions currently air on Friday evenings, with WOW already wrapped its first season and New Japan shows replaying special events such as Dominion.

The press release announced that they will re-air the entire eight-week event of the first season of Women of Wrestling; That will lead up to the second season, which will premiere on September 7 at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific. As for New Japan, the network will air a special live broadcast of Night 1 of the G1 Climax tournament that’s set to start in Dallas, Texas. That will be on July 6 at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific.

On Saturdays, AXS will have a special two-hour block for the Japanese promotion covering the G1 Climax events with English commentary from Kevin Kelly. AXS TV’s same-day coverage will continue through the tournament’s A Block Final on August 10, followed by special presentations of the B Block Final on August 17 and Tournament Final on August 24.
