Not surprisingly, the match-up started off chaotic as the team of Jado and Chase Owens distracted SANADA to give Fale the advantage.
Fale beat down the wounded Los Ingobernables de Japon member thoughout the arena; however, SANADA wouldn’t stay down forever, as the former IWGP Tag Team Champion hit a dive outside that took out Jado, Owens, and Fale.
Owens would try to interfere, but SANADA made him pay for his troubles; however, the distraction still gave Fale the opportunity he needed. Eventually, the Bullet Club member would connect with a Grenade that would get him a nearfall.
Fale would go for Bad Luck Fall, but SANADA countered with a TKO that got him a nearfall as well. Owens dragged the referee out of the ring while SANADA had Fale in the Skull End. Jado tried to attack him, but SANADA put him in a Paradise Lock. Owens attempts to do the same, but he's also put into the Paradise Lock.
With Owens and Jado out of the equation, SANADA tried to capitalize by going for a Skull End after a failed moonsault, but Fale countered with a small package that got him a three count.
Bad Luck Fale’s final G1 Climax score is 4-5 (8 points) and SANADA’s final record in the competition is 4-5 (8 points).
