During the preview for this match-up, Brandi Rhodes cut an emotional promo about being afraid to fail again in her debut bout against Allie, whereas the former Impact Knockouts Champion was confident in her abilities to defeat the Chief Brand Officer.

Rhodes came across as very sincere and passionate, until she pulled the rug from under the fans by having Awesome Kong come out and be at ringside with her. The former multi-time knockouts champion was a major distraction for Allie, which Rhodes would take advantage of at every opportunity.

There were several moments when the Canada native had the bout won, including connecting with a death valley driver and clearly getting the three count; however, due to Kong distracting the referee, a count was never made. Allie also locked in a dragon sleeper, in which Rhodes tapped out decisively; however, Kong once again saved Rhodes from losing the match-up.

In the end, Rhodes hit a spear and got the three count. After the match, Kong beat down Allie until Aja Kong made the save. Both women had a stare down until Brandi convinced the former Knockouts Champion to leave the ring.
