Cody Rhodes finally speaks on the latest ‘Road To’ entry.

At Full Gear, the AEW Executive Vice President suffered a devastating loss to Chris Jericho for the AEW World Championship. However, this loss meant more than losing the opportunity to be the world champion, it also meant that Rhodes would never be able to challenge for the belt ever again.

That loss can be contributed to MJF, who threw in the towel for the 33-year-old, and then showed his true colors following the match by leaving him lying in the middle of the ring.

Since then, MJF has explained why he turned on his former best friend, citing that Rhodes was trying to hold his career down. The 23-year-old and ‘The American Nightmare’ would get into a fight on Dynamite; however, the debuting Wardlow became the difference maker.
