This past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, Cody Rhodes was left lying on the ground inside the ring after being viciously assaulted by Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Santana & Ortiz, and Jake Hager.

The AEW World Champion has yet to explain himself as Chris Jericho made it clear that all questions will be answered next Wednesday; however, no matter the explanation, Jericho made his feud with Cody extremely personal this past week.

The brawl started when MJF, dressed as a fan wearing Jericho's face paint, announced that Rhodes was in the building. Rhodes then quickly came onto the New York Comic Con panel and the altercation between Jericho and Cody didn’t take long to happen.

As of right now, Chris Jericho is scheduled to defend the AEW World Championship against Cody Rhodes at Full Gear on November 9th.
