Former ECW Champion Taz will make his presence known in AEW.

Cody Rhodes revealed that the ECW legend would do commentary for AEW Dark matches in the city where he was made famous, Philadelphia.

The last time the former ECW Champion was seen at the commentary booth was back in 2015 with then named TNA. Before he made the jump to the promotion in 2009, Taz was the voice of Smackdown with Michael Cole from 2002 to 2009.

Taz hasn’t returned to the WWE except for a documentary on the original ECW promotion. At the moment, there’s no word on what the matches for AEW Dark will be, as the matches are usually taped before and after AEW Dynamite.
