After months of speculation and teasing, All Elite Wrestling has officially been announced!

Last night, Cody, The Young Bucks, and Adam Page revealed the promotion during the latest episode of Being The Elite.

The Elite members didn’t give away full information regarding the promotion. It was made clear that on January 8th at 5pm ET that Cody and the crew will spill the beans at the Double or Nothing rally in Jacksonville at the parking lot of West Club at the TIAA Bank Field (home of the Jacksonville Jaguars). The rally will be free to attend and is set to be live streamed.

A official date for the first pay-per-view, Double or Nothing, is expected to take place in Spring 2019, according to PWInsider. There is yet to be a television deal signed for the AEW promotion, but there’s reportedly multiple offers on the table. At the moment, it’s unknown which networks are interested in the AEW product.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Tony Khan (co-owner of the Jaguars) will indeed be the head of the company. As of this moment, there’s no word on if Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Jim Ross are also involved with the new promotion, but perhaps we’ll find out on January 8th.
