Darby Allin will get a shot at the AEW Heavyweight Championship next week when he goes one-on-one with Chris Jericho on Dynamite.
Allin defeated a game Jimmy Havoc with a Coffin Drop on tonight's show after a decent bout (they didn't even break out the weapons), earning the opportunity to challenge for the gold. We got a little preview of that mach tonight, too, as Darby attacked Jericho after a cool skateboard spot immediately following the main event.
The Painmaker will face Cody for the title at Full Gear, so Allin winning is highly unlikely. Still, we should be in for quite a match.
