From WWE, to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, to Major League Wrestling, Davey Boy Smith Jr. has made a splash throughout his time in whatever promotion he steps foot in. The multi-time IWGP Tag Team champion will continue to make an impact in MLW as Davey Boy Smith Jr. has signed a multi-year deal with MLW.

Teddy Hart, Davey Boy Smith Jr, and Brian Pillman Jr have been carrying on the legacy of the Hart Foundation down at the independent promotion since late 2018.

While the group has yet to secure the tag team titles down in the promotion, Hart and Smith Jr are advertised to challenge current MLW Tag Team champions, The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Dark & Fenix) at MLW Super Fight in February.

“Davey is very special,” said MLW CEO Court Bauer. “He’s been a part of MLW dating back to when he was just 18 and I know I speak for fans and the league when I say we’re very excited to see what the big guy does in 2019 and beyond.”
