Ladies and gentleman, we have new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team champions!

During today’s Kizuna road event, Bullet Club members El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori pulled off the victory by defeating now former three-time champs Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH). Phantasmo picked up the win for his team by hitting CR2 on YOH for the pinfall.

This is the first Junior Tag title reign for both Phantasmo and Ishimori. The latter has previously held the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight and the Six-Man NEVER Openweight titles in the company. For the former, it’s his first title in the Japanese promotion, as Phantasmo made his debut within the company back in May 2019.
