According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cody and The Young Bucks have turned down lucrative offers from WWE. Meltzer reports that the deals were for “main event money, multi-year deals for more than seven figures annually”.

The group also confirmed they had rejected WWE’s offer on the latest episode of weekly YouTube show Being The Elite:

The trio have been teasing fans and media at a possible jump to WWE since All In. Cody is officially gone from Ring of Honor thus making him a free agent, whereas the Young Bucks and Adam ‘Hangman’ Page’s contract ends on January 1st.

As we get closer to January - which is when Cody is expected to make a huge announcement – the picture for most of the Elite members seems to get clearer as the rumored All Elite Wrestling promotion is most likely the next step for the independent stars.
