Back in February, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis asked former ROH Television Champion Marty Scurll to be his partner for the Crockett Cup this Saturday; however, ‘The Villain’ had his sights set on another prize, the NWA World Heavyweight title. The match-up between Scurll and Aldis was made official and the two talents will finally clash this weekend in a much-anticipated main event this weekend.

On the latest edition of "Ten Pounds of Gold", the video focuses on both the champion and challenger, with the champion listing his goals as the face of NWA. Aldis states that he’s king of the mountain, but he wants to make his particular mountain higher by raising the prestige of the NWA belt.

Marty Scurll talks about the similar path both him and Aldis took to get to this point in their careers. Scurll and Aldis started out in TNA, though ‘The Villain’ was only in the company’s British Boot Camp while the former Magnus made a splash within the promotion.

We’ll finally see who’s the better man this Saturday as the wrestlers compete for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in the main event at the Crockett Cup on PPV. Other scheduled matches include Willie Mack vs. Colt Cabana for the NWA National Championship and Allysin Kay vs. Santana Garrett for the NWA Women’s Championship.
