Good news Flip Gordon fans, the Ring of Honor star has been cleared to compete in time for the ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard Show!

Back in January, Gordon suffered a torn ACL during the Honor Reigns Supreme tour in his match against Tracy Williams. It was initially reported that the ROH superstar would be healed in time for the big Madison Square Garden show.

ROH officials have confirmed that Gordon will compete as well stating, “the timetable for Gordon’s recovery means he should be able to compete at Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s historic G1 Supercard show at sold-out Madison Square Garden on April 6."

At the moment, there isn’t an obvious match-up for Gordon as the ROH star has been kept off of television since his injury occurred. It’s possible that Gordon ends up in the Honor Rumble or answers Bully Ray’s open challenge to face anyone in a New York Street Fight.

Both Ray and Gordon had a heated blood feud during the latter of 2018 that ended with Flip defeating the WWE Hall of famer in a violent I Quit match at Final Battle.
