The match-card for Best in the World continues to take shape as Flip Gordon will step into the ring against RUSH for the first time ever. The 27-year-old made the challenge to the undefeated newcomer, which RUSH ultimately accepted after nailing a cheap shot to Gordon.
Both men are coming off big victories from the G1 Supercard show in Madison Square Garden, as RUSH increased his undefeated streak by beating former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle and Gordon, Juice Robinson, and Mark Haskins were able to fend off Bully Ray, Silas Young, and Shane Taylor in a street fight.
Gordon made the challenge after winning a Four Corner Survival Match involving PJ Black, Dalton Castle and RUSH. The undefeated star wasn’t too happy about the comments Castle made beforehand and took his frustration out on Gordon. Will Gordon become the first man to defeat RUSH in one-on-one competition? We’ll find out at Best in World on June 28th in Baltimore, Marlyand. Check out the advertised match-card thus far:
