Double or Nothing is less than a month away and the build continues to spread across multiple promotions. It all happened on Friday night as Kenny Omega made a surprise appearance at a Southern Honor Wrestling show to attack his opponent for the May 25th show, Chris Jericho, who was savagely beating down two indie wrestlers inside the ring beforehand.
These two wrestlers are picking up where they left off at Wrestle Kingdom 12, as both Jericho and Omega went to war in a No Disqualification match for the IWGP US Championship. Omega would walk out victorious that night, but will the former IWGP Heavyweight champion be able to get another one over the wrestling veteran on May 25
th?
Jericho has had a busy weekend as the former IWGP Intercontinental champion was revealed to be the next challenger for Kazuchika Okada at Dominion on June 9
th. Omega and Jericho weren’t the only AEW stars to invade Southern Honor Wrestling on Friday night. Cody Rhodes also showed up in Georgia to reveal that Dustin Thomas, the man who wrestles with no legs, would be taking part in Over Budget Battle Royal at Double or Nothing.
