Former IWGP Heavyweight champion Satoshi Kojima has returned!

Kojima has been out of action due to an ACL injury he sustained back in January. In the main event of NJPW Road of Destruction: Blue Justice VII, Manabu Nakanishi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Yuji Nagata, and Satoshi Kojima defeated Togi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma, Juice Robinson, and David Finlay with Kojima getting the pin on Finlay.

Kojima has been in the company since the early 90’s, debuting in a match against tag team partner Hiroyoshi Yamamoto, who would later change his name to Hiroyoshi Tenzan. He left the company back in the early 2000’s, but made a return in 2010 and has managed to capture the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team titles with NXT star Ricochet and David Finlay.
