It appears that former Lucha Underground star Angelico will be calling All Elite Wrestling home very soon, according to Ryan Satin of
Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Angelico spent time in the Lucha Libre promotion for its first three seasons and revealed last year that he had officially parted ways with the company. Angelico held the Trios Championship alongside Ivelisse and Son of Havoc twice. He's also known for his time in AAA where he’s a former Tag Team champion with Jack Evans.
It was reported shortly after the former LU star announced his departure that WWE had interest in bringing Angelico to NXT. There’s no word on if there were ever talks between Angelico and WWE, but Satin reports that WWE didn’t want to get into a bidding war with AEW.
The all-new promotion is expected to announce Angelico signing soon.
