The man who was the staple of ROH’s House of Truth faction has decided to hang up his boots, according to the former ROH star. Martini appeared on Colt Cabana’s The Art of Wrestling and stated that his time has passed in professional wrestling:

“You kinda can’t argue with time, you know? Things run its course. It’s not like I don’t like professional wrestling. It’s kinda like when you’re young-when you’re done with your tricycle, it’s not like you hate your tricycle. Tricycles are awesome! It just ran its course and that’s pretty much how I felt.”

Martini made his pro wrestling debut back in 1998, but didn’t gain notoriety until his debut in Ring of Honor back in 2009 with the House of Truth. The stable has had members come and go, such as Roderick Strong, Michael Elgin, and current ROH World champion Jay Lethal. Martini left ROH back in 2016.

Martini added that while he’s not a performer, he still has plenty to offer the industry. “So, I went ahead and got married and have a lovely wife and I’ve got a three-and-a-half month baby girl,” said Martini. “Her name’s Miriam and she’s a blessing from God. I’m done performing right now, but I’m still at the school Monday-Thursday. HOTWrestlingSchool.com for anybody still interested.”
