Well, Maria Manic’s time in ROH didn’t last long.

The company’s newest female talent made her debut at Best of the World in a segment where she destroyed a group of security men.

Manic didn't wrestle a match in Ring of Honor, as the female athlete was only doing segments that involved her destroying male and female talents. Known as the “Maneater”, Maria’s last televised appearance for ROH was back at Death Before Dishonor when she teased a feud with then WOH World Champion, Angelina Love. Her contract with the promotion ended on October 1.

According to Fightful Select, Manic is set to have a private WWE tryout at the Performance Center in Florida (transcript courtesy of wrestletalk.com):

“Word from those close to Maria is that she’s participating in a private WWE tryout this week, and is at the WWE Performance Center. One source indicated that ROH is aware of the tryout.”

At the moment, there’s no word on whether ROH is interested in re-signing back Manic who, despite not having a match in the company, was featured prominently.
