Former four-time ROH Tag Team Champion BJ Whitmer is reportedly gone from Ring of Honor.

Whitmer’s role was mostly behind-the-scenes in 2018 as he helped the promotion with travel preparations, production, putting together matches, and training wrestlers at the ROH Dojo. Whitmer also appeared a few times on-screen as a color commentator.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the former ROH Tag Team champion gave notice that he was leaving the company due to issues stemming from ROH refusing to let Whitmer take a guest trainer role for WWE last September.

It's expected that Whitmer will join the heavily speculated All Elite Wrestling playing a similar role.
