It was reported previously that Punishment Martinez was finished with Ring of Honor. During the Death Before Dishonor TV Tapings, Martinez dropped the title to Jeff Cobb, which was his final match with the company.

Now the former Ring of Honor TV Champion has officially signed with WWE and reported to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, according to PWInsider. There’s no word yet on when he’s set to make his NXT debut.

Martinez made his professional wrestling debut back in 2004, having trained in the Monster Factory. In 2014, he attended a Ring of Honor training camp and one year later, Martinez made his debut for the company. Earlier this year, Martinez won his first title in the company, the World Television title. Back in August, the ROH TV champion's contract ended with the promotion, but he opted not to resign with the hopes of going to the WWE.
