We may have a better idea as to when we can expect to see Cain Velasquez return to the squared circle for AAA, as the former UFC Heavyweight Champion is expected to wrestle again at the Invading New York event on September 15th at Hulu Theater, according to ESPN.

The show was originally set to take place at Madison Square Garden; however, the promotion changed the venue due to the disappointing ticket sales. Velasquez made his debut for the company back at TripleMania XXVII, teaming with Cody Rhodes and Psycho Clown to take on El Texano, Killer Kross, and Taurus. The UFC star would get the win by locking in a Kimura on Texano.

Thus far, the Invading New York show has only confirmed Blue Demon Jr. vs. Dr. Wagner Jr. in a Mask vs. Hair match and Tessa Blanchard defending the Reina de Reina (Queen of the Queens) Championship against Taya Valkyrie.
