Here's The Latest On What's Happening Between CM Punk And ALL ELITE WRESTLING

There's been a lot of speculation that CM Punk and Cody Rhodes' comments about the former heading to All Elite Wrestling could be a work but a new report claims to shed some light on what's going on...

CM Punk recently talked about his interactions with All Elite Wrestling and while he dismissed their attempts to sign him to a contract as being little more than a series of texts, Cody Rhodes later claimed that they had met and that led to further speculation about Punk's future.

Now, Dave Meltzer has weighed in on the matter and he says that, "This is not a work. He doesn’t wanna wrestle."

He went on to say that much of this speculation comes from the fact Punk is appearing at Starrcast but that has nothing to do with All Out. "They want him, they’ve contacted him and he isn’t interested. They made another pitch for this pay-per-view and I’m sure they’ll try to make another pitch for [the TNT show] and he says no. That’s where it stands."

So, that might just be the end of that. It's a shame that Punk doesn't want to step back into the squared circle but if not even AEW can talk him around, it seems as if his wrestling career really might be over once and for all.
