IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega Was Busted Open During His G1 CLIMAX Match Today
Earlier today, Kenny Omega took on Tomohiro Ishii in the ongoing G1 Climax, and a brutal lariat from The "Stone Pitbull" resulted in the IGPW champ's mouth being busted open. Warning, graphic images follow.
Though it probably won't end up putting him on the shelf, Kenny Omega suffered a nasty injury today during his G1 Climax match against Tomohiro Ishii.
Towards the end of the bout, the "Stone Pitbull" hit Omega with a devastating lariat which busted the champ's mouth open. Ishii then went on to win the match after pinning his opponent with his signature brainbuster.
Kenny will almost certainly require stitches, but hopefully he'll still be able to compete in his scheduled tag-match on Osaka this Sunday.
