Ever since Chris Jericho’s Rock N Rager At Sea Cruise back in October, speculation has run rampant on the IWGP Intercontinental champion being one of the men to start a new professional wrestling promotion.

Back on October 30, Ross, Jerry ‘The King” Lawler, and Chris Jericho were hosting a special Talk is Jericho episode with the WWE Hall of famer criticizing the company for reportedly trying to prevent Rey Mysterio from working the cruise:

“Chris is here bringing brands together, that stuff that’s going on is embarrassing… somebody along the way is going to create another company and they won’t have to worry about that bullshit”

While both Ross and Jericho have denied they were looking to start up a new company, moments like the former WWE champion showing up to a Vikings game, where Jericho revealed that Tony Khan helped him get tickets to the football game – Khan is the man rumored to be funding the reported All Elite Wrestling promotion – continue to paint the picture of Chris Jericho’s possible involvement of the unannounced project:

We're one day away from Cody and The Young Bucks making a huge announcement regarding their future in professional wrestling. January 1st, 2019 could arguably be one the biggest days in professional wrestling for the new year.
