More entrants have been announced for the 2019 G1 Climax tournament, this time IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley and Best of the Super Juniors finalist Shingo Takagi.

Moxley had a brief match against Shota Umino and then after he defeated his opponent at Dominion, the IWGP US Champ announced that he’ll take part in this year’s competition.

After coming off a strong showing at the Best of the Super Juniors tournament, Takagi bounced back after his single loss to Ospreay this past Wednesday, by defeating Satoshi Kojima. He revealed that he’ll be in the G1 Climax after his match-up as well. The tournament will be a 1st for both men, as Takagi made his debut for New Japan last October and Moxley made his debut on June 5th, besting Juice Robinson to become the new IWGP United States Champion.
