Despite an early distraction from Gedo, Juice Robinson had early control of the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion until he turned his focus to Gedo. White would take advantage of the moment and gained control of the contest. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion would target the injured knee of Robinson and slowly picked apart his opponent for a good portion of the match-up.

Robinson would eventually make his comeback after connecting with a spinebuster and brought the fight to the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion despite an injured knee. White would eventually get the advantage again by tossing Robinson off the top turnbuckle, and got a nearfall after a DDT and Blade Buster. Robinson fired back with numerous maneuvers that would give him several nearfalls such as a powerbomb.

A short time later, Robinson countered a Blade Runner attempt with the Left Hand of God; however, Gedo would interfere that caused some chaos in the final minutes of the bout. In the end, White destroyed Robinson’s leg with multiple chair shots and won with the JTO submission.

Jay White’s G1 Climax score is now 5-3 (10 points), whereas Juice Robinson’s record has fallen to 3-5 (6 points).
