In the recent ‘
Road To All Out’ video, the company confirmed that the Casino Battle Royale will determine who competes for the AEW Women’s World Championship on October 2
nd. Brandi Rhodes, Allie, Yuka Sakazaki, Nyla Rose, and Britt Baker were confirmed for the 21-women battle royale; however, three new names were introduced to the AEW roster.
The first was Teal Piper, who’s the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. The second turned out to be former WWE and Lucha Underground star Ivelisse.
Earlier this year, the 31-year-old was finally released from her LU contract after fighting to get out of the company for over a year. It was confirmed that the former Tough Enough competitor had a tryout match with WWE earlier this year; however, it appears nothing came of it despite the tremendous talent of the former Lucha Underground Trios Champion.
The third entrant showcased was Jazz, a former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion and the longest reigning NWA World Women’s Champion. The wrestling veteran was forced to vacate the title due to personal reasons this past April.
