MLW: Intimidation Games took place this past Saturday, and the show opened with Jim Cornette joining commentary with Rich Boccini for the special event that evening.


PWInsider has confirmed that Cornette’s time with the company wasn’t a one-and-done appearance as the former manager and commissioner will be returning to Major League Wrestling for Battle Riot II on April 5th in Queens, New York. The site is reporting that Cornette’s main role will be working behind the scenes as an agent for the promotion.

Cornette has been in the professional wrestling business since 1982, working various positions in different promotions such as a manager, commentator, and member of the creative team. Cornette has worked for WWE, TNA (IMPACT Wrestling), Ring of Honor, World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), and NWA.
