Jon Moxley’s hot streak in New Japan Pro Wrestling continues, as the IWGP United States Champion was able to defeat former NEVER Openweight Champion Jeff Cobb.

Despite the contrast in styles, both athletes put on a great match that saw Cobb come extremely close to defeating Moxley thanks to his technical ability at a wrestler. However, Moxley would get the victory after a devastating knee strike as the former NEVER Openweight Champion tried to enter the ring, and then connect with the Death Rider (Dirty Deeds) for the three count.

Jon Moxley’s G1 Climax score is now 2-0, whereas Jeff Cobb’s record is 0-2.
