Jon Moxley has been the dominant force throughout the B-Block of the G1 Climax tournament and that didn’t change here, as the IWGP United States Champion was able to get a victory over Shingo Takagi.

Moxley came into the bout with a sound gameplan by targeting the left leg of the former IWGP Junior Tag Team Champion throughout the match-up. Takagi was unable to showcase the explosive speed and striking ability that got him far in the Best of the Super Juniors earlier this year.

Takagi put up one hell of a fight; however, the IWGP United States Champion would make the former IWGP Junior Tag Team Champion tap-out with a Texas Cloverleaf within 15 minutes.

Mox remains undefeated in the G1 Climax thus far with a score of 4-0 (8 points), whereas Shingo Takagi’s record is now 2-2 (4 points).
