The man formerly known as Dean Ambrose has been making a big splash in the wrestling world over the weekend.

First, he made a shocking appearance at Double or Nothing and appears to be feuding with former IWGP Heavyweight champion Kenny Omega, but Moxley made a debut for another company that flew over everyone’s heads. Back in early May, New Japan made a teaser video that introduced a mystery wrestler that was coming into the company and feuding with IWGP United States Champion, Juice Robinson.

It’s been revealed that Jon Moxley was that mystery man in the video and the former WWE Champion is set to make his debut on June 5th. There’s no word on what Moxley’s deal with New Japan is at the moment; however, his time with the promotion won’t conflict with All Elite Wrestling. The former WWE star has reportedly signed a multi-year contract that allows him to wrestle outside on the independent scene.
