It’s official, Former WWE Champion Jon Moxley will take on former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega at All Out on August 31
st.
The bout was first teased between the two former world champions when Moxley made his shocking debut at Double or Nothing by first taking out Chris Jericho. The current IWGP US Champion then fought Kenny Omega throughout the arena, with Moxley getting the better of Omega in the end.
Omega and Moxley are currently both on different paths at the moment, as the former WWE superstar is coming off a hot debut in New Japan Pro Wrestling by defeating Juice Robinson at the Best of The Super Juniors finals for the IWGP United States title. Moxley will also be competing in the G1 Climax tournament for the Japanese promotion. His first AEW match is set to be against Joey "Bad Boy" Janela at Fyter Fest.
Omega is currently scheduled in a six-man tag team match with The Young Bucks at Fyter Fest. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion will also take on CIMA in a one-on-one bout at AEW’s July pay-per-view, Fight for the Fallen. The only other confirmed match-up at All Out is the AEW World Heavyweight Championship match between Adam “Hangman” Page and Chris Jericho.
