Another incredible match has been uploaded on the ROH Youtube channel as Austin Aries vs. Kenny Omega at Buffalo Stampede 2010 is now available for free.

Before getting big in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, the Canadian native had a brief stint in Ring of Honor, though the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion would never win gold within the independent promotion. Still, the then unknown talent showed promise and potential when he made his debut with the promotion in 2008.

During this time, Aries was one of the top stars within Ring of Honor, with the Wisconsin native capturing the ROH World Championship twice. The second time saw Aries beat Jerry Lynn and Tyler Black (WWE’s Seth Rollins) in an elimination three-way match to win the prestigious belt at Manhattan Mayhem III on June 13, 2009.

Aries defended the championship against names such as Colt Cabana (ROH Reverse The Curse), Bryan Danielson (ROH The Final Countdown), Nigel McGuinness (ROH End Of An Age) and Kenny Omega himself (ROH The Omega Effect) before finally dropping the belt to Tyler Black at the 8th ROH Anniversary show.

Being unable to recapture the gold, Aries wasn’t much of a happy man during his last few months in Ring of Honor; however, like many on the roster, Kenny Omega decided to finally shut the former ROH World Champion up. Check out the strong back-and-forth encounter between Aries and pre-Cleaner Kenny Omega in 2010:
