Kenny Omega finally pinned Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in a superb 2 out of 3 falls match at NJPW Dominion, but now The Cleaner is the one with a target on his back, and an old Bullet Club ally turned bitter enemy is the first one gunning for his title.

Kenny Omega vs. Cody Rhodes for the IWGP Heavyweight Title has been announced for the upcoming NJPW G1 Special event at the Cow Palace in San Francisco.

The following matches were also announced:

Jay White vs. Juice Robinson for the US Title
The Young Bucks vs. SANADA and Evil for the Tag Titles
Naito and Bushi vs. Okada and Ospreay.
