The next Road To G1 Climax series showcases former WWE and Pro Wrestling Noah star, KENTA.

KENTA has spent most of his career in Japan under the Pro Wrestling Noah banner; the innovator of the G.T.S has won multiple championships in the indie promotion, such as the GHC Heavyweight Championship, GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship, and the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team titles.

However, KENTA then made his transition to the WWE in 2014 and unfortunately, the former Pro Wrestling Noah star didn’t get much of a chance to make as much of an impact as he did in the Japanese promotion. Part of that is due to the numerous injuries he sustained early in his run, but it didn't help that he was creatively restricted during his time in the big company.

Now KENTA is back to prove himself once again, as the former 205 Live star is looking to make a statement under the New Japan banner and will get a chance to do so in the G1 Climax.
