Kiera Hogan is returning to the ring.
The 30-year-old hasn’t had a match in ROH/AEW since April 2024. That’s because Hogan suffered a shoulder injury that took her out of action for a good period of time. However, it appears that the AEW star is cleared to compete as Hogan has just been confirmed for an upcoming ASÉ Wrestling show in Las Vegas on April 17.
Kiera will team with Tasha Steelz to take on the King Bees (Charity King and Dani Bee). This is actually a reunion for Hogan and Steelz as the two teamed together in TNA/Impact Wrestling as Fire N’Flava; in fact, these two won the Knockouts Tag Team titles back in 2021. Steelz and Hogan won the belts on two separate occasions; the first title reign started on January 16, 2021 after they beat Havok & Nevaeh to win the prestigious belts. Their first reign lasted for 99 days. The second started on May 15, 2021 after they beat Jordynne Grace and Rachel Ellering. Their second run with the belts lasted for 63 days.
This will be the first time that these two have teamed together since their match against Jordynne Grace and Rachel Ellering.
It was reported at the end of January that Kiera Hogan was nearing an AEW return. Hogan was previously a mainstay in Ring of Honor and she even had a great Street Fight against Athena in 2023. Since then, Hogan has mainly floated around the mid-card, though she did compete in the ROH Women’s World Television tournament. Hogan was eliminated in the first round.
While it’s possible that Hogan might return to ROH, the AEW star would be a great addition to the AEW women’s roster. Hogan was really coming into her own as a likable babyface during her final years within Impact Wrestling. It would be a shame if AEW simply put her back in a meaningless position within ROH. At the moment, there’s no word on what plans AEW has in store for Hogan.
Hopefully, it’s something beyond enhancement talent as Kiera hasn’t done anything meaningful on AEW television since her early days as one of Jade’s baddies. As always, we’ll keep you updated if more news comes out about Hogan’s return to AEW.
