Konosuke Takeshita is making his way over to House of Glory.
The former International Champion is a machine who’s worked non-stop around the world in 2025. Takeshita worked for DDT Pro Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, CMLL, and now, House of Glory will be added to the list on April 25th.
This will be the first time that Takeshita wrestles under the House of Glory banner. The promotion has strong ties to AEW, as HOG is coming off a show that saw TBS Champion Mercedes Mone main event against former NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell.
Other names that have fought for House for Glory while in AEW are former AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party, Danhausen, and Mike Santana, who’s currently the House of Glory Heavyweight Champion. Konosuke and Santana are scheduled to fight in the main event for the House of Glory Heavyweight title.
April 25th seems to be an exciting show as the NEVER Openweight Champion isn’t the only big name who will fight that night. Former X-Division Champion Trevor Lee will make his House of Glory return. The 34-year-old hasn't fought for House of Glory for ten years; his last match against Evander James resulted in a loss. However, Trevor isn’t the same athlete that he was ten years ago.
The former WWE star has been a workhorse since his release in 2024. He’s worked in MLW, Rev Pro, Black Label Pro, Westside Xtreme Wrestling, and Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. House of Glory will be his sixth promotion in 2025. Like Takeshita, Lee’s opponent has not been determined, but you can promise a strong match with Takeshita and Lee involved.
House of Glory is a New York based promotion that was created by former TNA/Impact Wrestling star Amazing Red, but is owned by popular music mogul Master P. The promotion started in 2012 and has hosted big names such as Cody Rhodes, Rey Mysterio, AJ Styles, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Samoa Joe, Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland, Drew McIntyre, The Hardy Boyz, The Lucha Brothers, Jacob Fatu and Jordynne Grace.
